Kohtaa vs Brella: a full event platform or a focused networking layer
Brella describes itself as an end-to-end event platform, with registration and ticketing, in-person, virtual and hybrid events, and AI-powered matchmaking. Kohtaa does one part of that: networking at in-person events and the connections people confirm afterwards. Kohtaa publishes its prices (100 EUR or 950 EUR per event, VAT included) and you order from the event page. Brella's pricing page asks you to contact their team.

When is Brella the better fit?
Brella is the better fit when you want one platform for the whole event: registration and ticketing, the event app, and virtual or hybrid sessions alongside the in-person programme. Kohtaa is not a ticketing tool and does not run virtual or hybrid sessions.
It is also the better fit if your attendees expect a native app on their phones, or if you want the platform to suggest who should meet whom. Kohtaa has no native app and no matching algorithm: attendees choose whom to ask. It has no Lyyti sync yet either; an organizer can upload an attendee list exported as a CSV file.

Is Kohtaa cheaper than Brella?
We cannot say. Kohtaa publishes its prices: 100 EUR per event for up to 100 attendees, 950 EUR per event with no attendee limit, or 3,900 EUR a year, VAT included. Brella's pricing page asks you to contact their team, so ask them for a quote for your event and compare the two.
Can we run Brella and Kohtaa at the same event?
You could, but there is little reason to. Both handle networking, and two tools for the same job split your attendees between them. Pick one networking tool per event.
Do attendees need an app for either?
Not for Kohtaa: it runs in the browser and there is nothing to install. Brella's pricing page lists a responsive web app for every device as well as native iOS and Android apps.
Does Kohtaa do ticketing?
No. Kohtaa does not sell tickets or take payments from attendees. Keep your registration or ticketing tool and share the Kohtaa join link, for example in the registration confirmation.
Does Kohtaa integrate with Lyyti?
Not yet. There is no Lyyti sync. An organizer can export the attendee list from Lyyti as a CSV file and upload it to Kohtaa, or share the Kohtaa join link in Lyyti's confirmation email.
