Startup event software pricing

Kohtaa costs 100 euros per event for up to 100 attendees (Startup Meetup), 250 euros for up to 250 (Startup Event) and 500 euros for up to 500 (Startup Conference), VAT included. Each tier also has an annual plan for unlimited events at 5 times the per-event price. Community, student and volunteer events of up to 30 attendees can apply for the free Community tier.

About 1 euro per attendee when your event fills its tier, and around 1.40 euros on average. Kohtaa is priced by the tier your event needs, not per person, so an event near the bottom of a tier pays more per attendee than one that fills it.

Yes, for up to 30 attendees: the Community tier is free and granted by application, for community, student and volunteer events. A meetup of more than 30 people uses Startup Meetup, at 100 euros for up to 100 attendees.

Yes: 500 euros a year for Startup Meetup, 1,250 euros for Startup Event and 2,500 euros for Startup Conference, each covering unlimited events up to that size for a year. That is the price of 5 single events, so it is cheaper from the sixth. Order it from your event page, or contact us.

You pay the difference between the two per-event prices, for that event only: a Startup Meetup annual customer hosting a 300-attendee event pays 400 euros extra (500 minus 100). The credit does not carry over to other events.

Events of more than 500 attendees are not part of the standard tiers yet. Tell us about your event through the form on this page or the contact page, and we will talk it through with you.

Your event can go live as soon as you submit the order. To order, create your event and set it up, then choose the tier your event needs from its page. Enter your organization's business ID and billing contact, and choose whether we invoice before or after the event. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. We review orders afterwards, and may pause an event if the billing details cannot be verified or the event breaks our terms.

Everyone on your event's attendee list counts toward its limit: each person who joins through your event link and creates a profile, including any organizer or co-organizer who is on that list.

Order a larger tier from your event page. The attendee cap is raised as soon as you submit the order. We do not recommend upgrading during a live event, so order before the event date where you can.

Application and database both run on Hetzner in Helsinki, Finland. Your data is stored only in the EU, and there is no external database subprocessor. See the Enterprise page for the full compliance breakdown.

Yes. Every paid tier is paid by invoice, never by card. You place the order from your event with your organization's business ID and billing contact, and choose whether we invoice before or after the event. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. Prices include VAT.

Kohtaa tracks seven meaningful interactions between any two attendees, from first profile view to mutual endorsement. Research on personal networks, including Robin Dunbar's at Oxford, finds that closeness between people tracks how much time and how many interactions they invest in each other. Kohtaa makes that journey visible to attendees and measurable for organizers. The 7 Points of Contact is available on all tiers.

Yes. Attendee profiles persist across all Kohtaa events. Their 7 Points of Contact progress with each connection carries over from event to event. This is the core of what makes Kohtaa different from single-event matchmaking tools.
